HIUC Osaka is still very busy!!
Hello. The regular classes at HIUC Osaka are currently on summer holiday. That means our regular students are busy relaxing and having a good time. Some of them are working part-time jobs, but I am sure they are still finding time to have fun. I also hope that all of the students are making time every day to work on their English summer homework. The next semester will be tough, and it will be even tougher if they did not study English over the vacation.
The regular classes are on holiday, but HIUC Osaka is still very busy. The summer intensive TOEFL courses finished last week. Students had intensive TOEFL Test preparation classes for three periods every day. They did a lot of hard work and studying. It should help them improve their scores when they take their next test.
Last week, we also had some classes for high school students. Students came to HIUC for four days and had English classes from 9:30 in the morning until 4:10 in the afternoon. That is a big change from their usual English classes in their high school. They are long days, and the whole day is all in English. I hope they enjoyed the variety of lessons they had and improved their English.
This week, our distance learning program summer English camp begins. Students who join the English camp will have English classes for eleven days straight. The classes will begin at 9:00 in the morning and finish at 5:30 in the afternoon. They will be long days full of English learning. If they do their best and get enough sleep every night, they should see a big improvement in their English speaking ability.
As you can see, we are on holiday, but even our holidays are busy.
Stay cool and enjoy your free time.
